HARLEM -- Thomson's William Bussey, John Adkins and Quay Rogers won individual events on March 3.
Bussey captured the 400-meter dash in 52.28 seconds; Atkins tossed the shot put 42 feet, 10 inches; Rogers won the triple jump in 42 feet, 10 inches.
Also finishing in the top three for Thomson were: Dontavius Williams, second in the 800-meter run in 2:27; Dwayne Williams, second in the long jump at 19-6; Ric Hill, second in the discus at 105 feet; and Garrison Kendrick, third in the shot put at 38-10.
Thomson competes Saturday at the Columbia County Challenge in Grovetown.
