Mrs. Barbara Rogers Bryant
THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Barbara Rogers Bryant, 71 of Thomson,
died Wednesday, March 9, 2011, at Doctor's Hospital, Augusta. Mrs.
Bryant, daughter of the late Powell and Grace Solley Rogers, was born
in Sylacauga, Alabama.
A former resident of Martinez, she had resided in Thomson since
1968. After raising her children, she went to work at Belle Meade in the
Pro Shop and managed the Fashions by Prestwyck store in Thomson.
Also, she was a member of First Baptist Church, Thomson. Her husband,
William C. Bryant, Jr. and son, Roger Bryant preceded her in death.
Survivors include: daughter: Connie B. Livingston and husband, James
of Buford; son: Gary Bryant, and his friend Kim McDaniel of Macon,
Ga.; brother: Wayne Rogers, and wife, Debbie, Sylacauga, Alabama;
grandchildren: Matthew Bryant, Blake Bryant, and Brooke Livingston;
great- grandchildren: Landon Bryant, and Audrey Bryant.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at First
Baptist Church, Thomson with Dr. James Ramsey and Charles Broome
officiating. Interment followed in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
