Mr. Tommy Edward Cope
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Tommy Edward Cope, 44 of Thomson, entered
into rest March 20, 2011.
Memorial services were held at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 24, 2011, at
the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bryant Neal officiating.
Mr. Cope was born in McDuffie County, grew up in Camak, GA and
later resided in McDuffie County. He was a truck driver for Southern
Metal Roofing. Mr. Cope was a member of Camak Baptist Church.
Survivors include: fiance, Terri Blackburn of Thomson; mother, Patsy
King Edwards and husband, James of Camak; father, Milton Cope,
Sr. and his wife, Barbara of Colmar, PA; brothers, Milton Cope, Jr. of
Oklahoma, Mike Cope of Arizona; sister, Michelle Edwards of Harlem.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Cope.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
