Mr. Emmett Clifford Beasley
WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mr. Emmett Clifford Beasley 79, died
Thursday, March 17, 2011 at his residence.
Mr. Beasley was born in Columbia, Alabama and was a longtime
resident of Waynesboro. He was a retired Crane Operator and was a
member of the Local Operators Union. Mr. Beasley was a United States
Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 120. He was
preceded in death by his loving wife Pat.
Surviving are, his son, Emmett Clifford Beasley, Jr. of Tulsa,
Oklahoma, step-children, Patricia Flakes of Waynesboro, Tim Sikes of
Thomson and Beverly LeRoy of Evans; sisters, Dorothy Bullock, Judy
Wasdin, Catherine Comer and Inez West; his grandchildren, Brian
Beasley, Laura Beasley, Jake Beasley and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services were held Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the
Joiner-Anderson-Saxon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Saxon
officiating.
Joiner-Anderson-Saxon Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge
of arrangements.
