Mr. Cecil Steve May
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Cecil Steve May, 55 of
Thomson, entered into rest March 14, 2011.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m.., Friday,
March 18, 2011, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel
with Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Interment
services followed in Westview Cemetery.
Mr. May was a lifelong resident of McDuffie
County, and was the son of the late Matthew
William May and the late Catherine Reese May.
He was retired from construction work and was a
Baptist by faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie Inmon, Willard, Ohio,
step-children Jacqueline Powell, Augusta, Jamie Stewart, N. Augusta,
SC, Chris Stewart, Wrens; sister, Martha Perdue, Thomson; brothers,
Roy Newsome, Thomson, James May, Gibson; grandchildren, Dakota
Howard, Jacob Trent; niece, Angie Stephens and husband, William,
Dearing; great-nieces and nephew, Erica Stephens, Cathy Stephens,
Connor Stephens and Mandy Clark.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
