To the Editor:
We would like to thank all the firemen of the City of Thomson and all the bus drivers of the McDuffie County School System and all our friends of the community who bought and sold tickets to the steak supper that was held to help raise money for Jimmy's liver transplant.
It was a big success and Jimmy was able to advance a little closer on the organ list. Also, we would like to thank those who gave or are still giving monetary donations. Thanks for all the cards, letters and kind words. They are very comforting. Words cannot express how we feel living in such a wonderful town where when you are sick, everyone just wraps their arms around you and shows you they care and they are there for you. Thanks for all your prayers.
