WARRENTON, GA. - Mr. G. B. "Bill" McCoy, Jr.
entered into rest April 3, 2011 in Thomson.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, April
6, 2011, at Johnson Cemetery in Warrenton, with Dr. Ron
Drawdy officiating.
Pallbearers were Michael Poss, Mark McCoy, David
McCoy, Amos McCoy, Arthur Downs and Kenneth Norris.
Mr. McCoy was a lifelong resident of Warren County, and
was the son of the late G. B. McCoy, Sr. and the late Susie
Mae Langham McCoy. He was a farmer and a Baptist by
faith.
Survivors include his sons, G. B. "Buck"McCoy, III and
wife, Patricia, Billy Wayne McCoy and wife , April, William
Dean McCoy and wife, Brandi all of Thomson; daughters,
Rhonda McCoy, West Virginia, Mary Ann Frails, Augusta;
brothers, Hubert McCoy, Lawrence McCoy both of Augusta,
Raymond McCoy, Girad; sisters, Hazel Chalker, Thomson,
and Esther Poss, Harlem; ten grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
