Mr. Floyd P. Williams
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Floyd P. Williams, 82 of Thomson,
entered into rest April 8, 2011 at his residence. He was the
beloved husband of Edna Crawley Williams.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April
10, 2011, from the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with
Revs. Tim Ferrell, Danny McClure and Alex Williams
officiating. Interment followed in the Williams Creek
Baptist Cemetery, Norwood.
Pallbearers were Joe Adams, Harold Adams, Andy
Cannon, Robert Williams, Chris Wallace and Dennis
Robinson.
Mr. Williams was a native of Rockdale County, GA and
lived in Warren and McDuffie Counties since 1993. He
was the son of the late Willis E. Williams, Sr. and the
late Mary Lou Blake Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired
construction foreman for ABCO Builders in Lithonia after
34 years of service. He was a member of Williams Creek
Baptist Church in Norwood where he served as chairman
of the Deacons. He also attended Bethel Baptist Church in
Thomson. Mr. Williams had a great passion for hunting and
fishing.

brother, James Williams

and Frances Nichols of
Norwood; grandchildren,
P. Alexander Williams,
II and wife, Donna and
Jennifer Skvarca; five great
grandchildren and one
great great grandchild.
