Mrs. Maudie M. Arrington
THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Maudie M. Arrington, 88,
widow of Mr. Earl Arrington, died Sunday, April 24, 2011,
at her residence.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 26,
in the Thomson Church of God, with Rev. Bobby Farmer
officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery.
Mrs. Arrington was a native of Washington Co., but had
lived in Thomson for many years. She was a homemaker and
a member of Thomson Church of God. She was preceded in
death by her granddaughter, Ms. Leslie Arrington.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Judy (Doug)
Butts, Gibson and Miss Dianne Arrington, Thomson; her
two sons, Mr. Rodney (Beth) Arrington, Thomson and
Mr. Neil (Anne) Arrington, Ashboro N.C.,; three sisters,
Mrs. Bobbie Radfrod, Thomson, Mrs. Dahlia McCoy and
Mrs. Jean Reese, both of Hephzibah; two brothers, Mr.
Ray Morgan and Mr. Charlie Morgan, both of Ft. Worth
Tx; two grandchildren, Amy (Brad) Denton, Belmont,
N.C. and Matt (Anna) Arrington, Marietta; and four greatgrandchildren,
Brooke Denton, Emma Denton, Avery
Denton, and Peyton Arrington. Pallbearers will be Matt
Arrington, Brad Denton, Bob Radford, Reggie Morgan,
Larry Morgan, and Kenneth Johnson.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
