KENNY HILL FUND

MORE INFO: Kenny Hill is a dear friend to many residents of McDuffie County and the surrounding area. He has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer and lung cancer. Doctors have removed two tumors on his brain and are trying to treat the ones that are left. Kenny has been in ICU for over three weeks. You may keep up with his progress at www.caringbridge.org. FAMILY Y YMCA SPLASH PROGRAM

MORE INFO: Registration is under way online at www.thefamilyy.org or at the Family Y location. YMCA Splash is a free, week-long introduction and orientation to swimming and water safety offered as five 30-minute sessions for children ages 3-12.

TAX COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE TO CLOSE

WHEN: Tuesday through May 12

FOR MORE INFO: This is for annual staff training. If your birthday falls within these dates, please renew tags before May 10 to comply with Georgia law. If for some reason you cannot purchase your tag before Tuesday, no late fees will be assessed if you purchase your vehicle decal by May 16. Law enforcement can ticket you for not having a current decal if you should be stopped after midnight of your birthday.
