SPC Bryan J. Brubeck
THOMSON, Ga. - On May 22, 2011, SPC Bryan
J. Brubeck passed away after a brief illness. He was
laid to rest at Fort Jackson, SC on Friday, May 27,
2011.
Bryan was a 2001 graduate of Thomson High
School and a graduate of Nashville Auto Diesel College. He
joined the Army in 2008 and was stationed at Fort Stewart, Ga.,
with a year long stint in Iraq.
He is survived by his wife, Lauren; daughters, Madison,
Abigail and Emma; one son, Carter; his parents, Jim and Brenda
Brubeck, of Thomson; his paternal grandparents, Jim and Ruth
Brubeck of Kansas City, Mo.; as well as numerous aunts, uncles,
cousins, and close family friends.
A local memorial service for Bryan will be announced at a later
date. In lieu of flowers, his family is requesting donations be
made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
