- Rhusha LeMart Mack Jr. died of cancer in 2003. He was one of two deceased classmates who were granted diplomas with the Thomson High School Class of 2011. An incorrect cause of death was given in a May 26 article about the graduation.
- Hannah Adair was misidentified in a photo published June 2. Hannah and her friends swam at the White Oak Campground pool through the Family Y Day Camp.
