The public is invited to a Father and Family Fun Fest in honor of Father's Day. The event will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Thomson Housing Authority field beside the Boys & Girls Club of Thomson, 219 Pecan Ave.
The event will offer free food and free carnival rides for children ages 6 to 12.
Community partners who are interested in setting up a free information booth are invited to contact Carolyn Andrews at (706) 595-4878.
The event is being offered by the Thomson Housing Authority, in conjunction with the Warrenton, Harlem and Crawfordville housing authorities.
