Liquor store robbed by two men

Mirror Staff Report

An employee of the Saicon Liquor Store at 1410 Washington Road told authorities that two men robbed the store of an undetermined amount of money last week.

The employee said the men, one of whom was armed with a black, semiautomatic handgun, entered the store about 9:30 p.m. June 9 and ordered him to surrender all the money in the register, according to a McDuffie County sheriff's report.

One of the robbers was described as black, 6 feet 5 inches tall, with a slender build and dreadlocks.

The other man was described as black and was wearing long black pants and a long-sleeve shirt.
