Gun store worker wounds himself

A Thomson man was taken to MCG Hospital emergency room June 9 after he accidentally shot himself in the hand.

Wade Yarbrough, 37, a clerk at Double D Gun & Pawn, was unloading his gun when it fired about 11:30 a.m.

Monty Ashcraft, the owner of the shop at 642 Main St., told The Mirror on Monday at Yarbrough is home after surgery. The bullet lodged in a shelf and was recovered.
