The McDuffie County Recreation Department was host to a Youth League tournament Friday at Sweetwater Park.
The tournament featured teams grouped by age, including 7-8-year-olds, 9-10-year- olds, and 11-12-year-olds.
In the 11-12 age group, the Woodmen Lodge Rangers defeated the Murphy USA Braves by a score of 14-1.
In the 9-10-year-old age group, the Martin Ink Mets defeated the Phillips Clearing and Grading Dodgers by a score of 10-7.
In the 7-8-year-old age group, the Culpepper Lumber Diamond Backs defeated the Hall Rental Property Cubs in a semifinal game by a score of 2-1 to advance and play the McDuffie Podiatry Yankees in the final.
The Yankees won that game by a score of 6-4 over the Diamond Backs.
