Bill Doupe, chairman of the McDuffie County Hospital Authority Board, will present an update at Tuesday's county commission meeting on University Health Care System's offer to purchase the McDuffie Regional Medical Center.
"It won't be much," Doupe said today. "It's just all part of the due process."
The hospital board and University have a confidentiality agreement that prohibits discussion of the purchase offer's details. The hospital board has met in executive session on the offer twice without reaching a decision.
