Mr. James Earnest RIP Garnett
APPLING, Ga. - Mr. James Earnest RIP Garnett, 59, Appling, entered
into rest on Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Doctors Hospital, Augusta.
Funeral service were conducted on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at 1 p.m. at
the Lampkin Grove Baptist Church Appling, with Rev. Charlie Wright,
Jr., pastor, evangelist Rubystene Johnson, presiding, and the Rev. Jesse
Johnson, eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a son, Chief Warrant Officer 2
Dannie T. Garnett , Ft. Riley, Kansas; two daughters, Shemika Garnett of
Waynesboro, and Sandra Booker, Augusta; eight grandchildren Alyssia T.
Garnett and Alexis T. Garnett of Augusta; Braylon T. Garnett and Bryce M.
Garnett, Ft. Riley, KS; Jaquez Booker, Janiyah Booker, Jakaria Verdee and
Tailor Downcereaux, Augusta; loving mother, Eunice Garnett, Appling;
one brother, Willie (Magnolia) Garnett, Augusta, five sisters, Louise
Hicks Augusta; Hattie Harris, Appling; Edwina Marr, Hephzibah; Shirley
Moore, and Teresa (Dennis) Thomas, both of Augusta; one god daughter,
Ashley Thomas, Evans; five aunts, two uncles; one adopted sister, Helena
Green, Grovetown; two adopted brothers, Paul and Ronnie Roland both of
Appling; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
