Four Thomson High School baseball players have been chosen for The Augusta Chronicle's all-area baseball team.
Infielder Nick Rau and pitcher Abe Cartledge, both seniors, were selected for the first team. Outfielder Dontavis "Juicy" Brown and Phillip Anderson, who went 11-1 on the mound with a 2.18 ERA, were named to the second team. Brown and Anderson were also seniors.
The McDuffie Mirror reported the selection of Will Tankersley as The Chronicle's Georgia Player of the Year in last week's edition.
