Mr. Charles W. Newman
AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Charles W. Newman, 62, entered
into rest Tuesday, June 21, 2011.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 23,
2011, at Starling Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Dunaway
officiating. Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Newman and David
Newman, of Hephzibah; seven brothers, Raymond Newman,
Martinez, Larry Newman, Donnie Newman, of Augusta,
Marvin Newman Harlem, Jessie Newman, Carl Newman,
of Grovetown and Tony Newman, Evans; three sisters, Ann
Rickerson, Grovetown, Debbie Odom, Augusta and Carolyn
Newsome, Thomson; three grandchildren Brittney, Jessica
and Elizabeth Newman.
Pallbearers were Jonathan Keough, Buford Rickerson, David
Odom, Ray Wright, Herbert Morris and Steven Mansell.
Starling Funeral was in charge of arrangements.
