Mrs. Mary B. Hodge
THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Mary B.
Hodge of Thomson, entered into rest
June 24, 2011. She was the beloved wife
of the late Elijah Red Thomas Hodge, Jr.
for 62 years.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.,
Monday, June 27, 2011 at the Beggs
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger
Bennett officiating. Interment followed
in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Patrick Reece, Cole Flanders, Jared
Brown, Stoney Washington, Jared McKinnon and Austin
Burke.
Mrs. Hodge was born in Moultrie, Ga. and was the
daughter of the late Paul Worley and the late Velma Kirby.
She retired as an ICU unit secretary from Southern Regional
Medical Center. Mrs. Hodge was a member of First Baptist
Church, Thomson.
Survivors include her five children: sons; Dan and wife,
Mary, Pat and wife, Barbara, Thomas, Don and wife,
Kathy; daughter, Vickie and husband, Mac; sisters, Barbara
and Sara; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, three
great-great-grandchildren and her beloved Angel.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Gina
and Susan with Odyssey Hospice for their special care.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
