Harrison-Kelly exchange vows at First United Methodist

united in marriage
on Saturday, May
14, 2011, at 7 p.m.
at The First United
Methodist Church in
Thomson. The Revs.
Charles Elliot Broome
and Michael McGrath
officiated.
The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. James D. Smith
of Thomson and
the late Philip Otis
Harrison. She is the
granddaughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Otis Irvin
Harrison, also of
Thomson, and the late
Mr. and Mrs. Roland
Shannon Berry. A
graduate of Thomson
High School, the bride
attended Georgia
Southern University
where she received a
degree in justice studies.
The groom is the
son of Mr. Patrick
Michael Kelly and the
late Kathryn Weathers
Kelly of LaGrange,
Ga. He is the grandson
of Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Coleman Weathers of
Macon, Ga., and Mrs.
William Lawrence Kelly
of Athens, and the late
Mr. William Lawrence
Kelly. A graduate of
LaGrange High school,
the groom attended
Georgia Southern
University where he
received a degree in
finance. He is currently
employed by AT&T.
Given in marriage
by her grandfather, the
bride chose her cousin
Mary Allen Wilson
Tondee as her matron
of honor and Allison
Ansley Paine as her maid
of honor. Bridesmaids
included Virginia
Marie Wilson and April
Pearson Towler, both
cousins of the bride,
Kara Helen Kelly and
Kathryn Lynn Kelly,
sisters of the groom,
Fallon Michelle Bird,
Dorothy Austin Knox,
Martha Collins Penn
and Hanna Morgan
Poston, all friends of
the bride.
The groom chose his
father to be his best

brothers of the groom,

bearer.

ceremony were Kara
Helen Kelly and
Kathryn Lynn Kelly,
soloists, Dale Hess,
organist, and Kathryn
Cheney, trumpeter.
The bride's register was
attended by Annemarie
Helen Weathers.
Following the
ceremony, a reception
was held at the Bowden-
Johnson House. The
couple will reside in
Tallahassee, Fla.
