Mrs. Madeline Bradshaw McCord
WARRENTON, Ga. - Mrs. Madeline Bradshaw McCord,
87 of Warrenton, entered into rest June 29, 2011. She was
the beloved wife of the late William Dudley McCord.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 2,
2011, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs.
Sue Meehan and Linda Allen officiating. Interment followed
in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Michael Thigpen, Matthew Thigpen,
Macy Thigpen, Chad McCord, Chris McCord and Charlie
McCord.
Mrs. McCord was a native of Warren County, and was the
daughter of the late Cecil Thomas Bradshaw and late Ida
Bell Askew Bradshaw. She was a homemaker and a member
of Mesena United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her son, William Bill McCord and wife,
Dot of Thomson; daughter, Jean M. Thigpen and husband,
Lewis of Warrenton; sisters, Elizabeth B. McCord, N.
Augusta, S.C., and Lou B. Bailey, Macon; grandchildren,
Chad McCord, Chris McCord, Michael Thigpen, Matthew
Thigpen, Macy Thigpen and 10 great-grandchildren.
