Mrs. Margaree Rita Sturkey Treadwell
THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Margaree Rita Sturkey Treadwell of
Thomson, entered into rest June 30, 2011. She was the beloved
wife of the late James Tony Treadwell.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 3, 2011, at
the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Todd Upchurch
officiating. Interment followed in Savannah Valley Memorial
Gardens.
Mrs. Treadwell was a native of McDuffie County, and was the
daughter of the late Fonzie Sturkey and Mary Walker Treadwell.
She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were Benji Sturkey, Floyd Brooks, Bruce McGahee,
David Wells, Adam Sturkey and Charles Fuller.
Survivors include her
daughter, Cynthia Usry and
husband, Donald, Thomson;
sons, Thomas Anthony
Treadwell and wife, Cheryl,
Avera, and James Darrell
Treadwell and wife, Kathy,
Dearing; sisters, Gladys
Keller, Agnes Brooks, and
Mary Langham; brothers,

Sturkey, and Buck Sturkey, all
of Thomson; grandchildren,
Jayme Usry (Beth), Ayme
Usry Cranford (Jason), Kayla
Treadwell, Bryan Treadwell,
Vicky Treadwell and J. C.
Treadwell; step grandchildren,

Beggs Funeral Home was
