Mr. Billy Duffie

THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Billy Duffie, 63, beloved husband of
Mrs. Jewell McNair Duffie, died Saturday, July 9, 2011, at his
residence.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 11, in the
Little Brier Creek Baptist Church, with Dr. Randy Dunaway
officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Duffie was a native of McDuffie County. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jewell Duffie, Thomson;
his two sons, Wayne (Carla) Duffie, Thomson and Lee (Eileen)
Duffie, Mitchell; his two sisters, Betty Duffie-Lunsford, Augusta,
and Lynda D. (Carl C.) Bowen, Thomson; and his grandson,
Noah Duffie.
Pallbearers were David Cheeley, Carl C. Bowen, Chris Usry,
C.J. Usry, Lee Duffie and Wayne Duffie.
Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
