Mr. Bobbie "Bob" G. Bullard Sr.
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Bobbie "Bob" G. Bullard Sr. of
the Winfield Community died Sunday, July 10, 2011, at his
residence.
Born in Columbia County, he resided in Columbia and
McDuffie counties all his life. Bob was a loving husband, father,
grandfather and great grandfather. Bob was a retired ironworker
and a member of the Ironworker's Local Union 709. He was a
member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and a 32nd Degree
Mason.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Key Bullard,
brother David S. Bullard and his parents, David A. (Bunk)
Bullard and Ima Yelton Bullard.
He is survived by three daughters, Kathy (Neeley) Dukes of
Augusta, Lisa (Stan) Sellers of Thomson, Gina (Bobby) Jones of
Raysville and three sons- Jerry (Kaye) Bullard of Harlem, Aubrey
Bullard of Winfield and Dennis Bullard of Winfield. He had ten
grandchildren- Brad Bullard, Al Bullard, David McMichael III,
Alan Bullard, Will Bullard, Christy Bishop, Tiffany Newcomb,
Stephanie Bullard, Falon Sellers and Aubrey Jones. Bob also had
10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Libbie
Nichols of Evans and Shirley (Bill) Bohling of Martinez and
brothers, George (Angela) Bullard of Jacksonville, Fla. and Cecil
(Mandy) Bullard of Winfield; two sister-in-laws, Mildred Bullard
of Winfield, and Annette Key of Thomson.
Funeral services were held at Sharon Baptist Church in
Winfield at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 13. The grandsons served
as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were members of the
Ironworker's Local Union 709, Jody Wallace, Scott Lawlis, James
Gibbs and Mike Love. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that
donations be made to the North Columbia Church. 5868 White
