Mr. Joseph Kevin "Joey" Sweatman
THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. Joseph Kevin "Joey" Sweatman, 27, of
Thomson, died July 30, 2011.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August
3, 2011, at Rehobeth Baptist Cemetery in the Metasville
Community of Wilkes County.
Mr. Sweatman was born in Atlanta, Ga., but lived in McDuffie
County many years. He was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife, Adena Sweatman; children, Triston
Sweatman and Preston Lugari; step-daughter, Victoria Knight;
parents, Tina and Bobby Thornton; brothers, Michael Anthony
Carter and Ricky Allen Carter; grandparents, Betty and Jerry
Blalock.
Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
