Hickory Hill at the Watson-Brown Foundation Inc. is looking for a few good teenagers who are interested in history, like to help their communities and want to learn about philanthropy to serve on its Junior Board.
The board is composed of area high school students. The board makes grants to assist with historic preservation projects in the area.
Applicants must be in high school in one of the following counties: McDuffie, Warren, Columbia, Richmond, Lincoln, Elbert, Wilkes, Jefferson, Taliaferro, Glascock, Burke, Aiken (South Carolina), or McCormick (South Carolina).
There is no cost to serve. Applicants must have time to serve on the board, which meets once or twice a month on a weekday evening throughout the school year. Applications need to be returned by Sept. 16.
