Mrs. Sheila Cabaniss Harmon

THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Sheila Cabaniss Harmon, 66, of
Thomson, died Aug. 9, 2011. Graveside services were held at 4
p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at the Maple Grove Cemetery in
Russellville, Ky.
Mrs. Harmon was born in Tuscumbia, Ala., and grew up in
Tennessee. She was a graduate of Austin Peay State College with a
major in physical education. Mrs. Harmon coached basketball and
taught in Waverly, Tenn., before moving to Thomson in 1986. She
started H & H Sign Company in Thomson which she has owned and
operated for the past 25 years. Mrs. Harmon was also a member of
Mount Tabor Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Rudy Harmon, Thomson; son,
Eric Moseley and wife, Gina, Conyers; daughter, Jill Herkel,
Thomson; step-son Tom Harmon and wife, Beth, Comer, Ga.;
mother, Sybil R. Heichelbech
and sister, Rickey Link, both of
Russellville, Ky.; grandchildren,
Sloan Holbrook, Thomson, and
Mary Beth Moseley and Matt
Moseley both of Conyers; nieces,
Kelli and Corey Link, both of
Russellville, Ky.
Beggs Funeral Home was in
charge of arrangements.
