Gibson, Ga.. - Mrs. Rita Ann Remay Moenk, 87, of Thomson, died Sept. 4, 2011. Funeral mass was held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at the Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Father Bill Williams as celebrant. Interment services followed at 4 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park, Ga. Mrs. Moenk was born in Cleveland, Ohio and lived in College Park, before making her home in Gibson, seven years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Survivors include her son, Timothy I. Moenk of Boston, MA; daughters, Sister Jeanne Moenk, SND of Cleveland, Ohio, Patricia Scott of Carrolton, TX, Rita Allen, of Gibson; seven grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
