Thomson, Ga. - Mr. Larry Truman May, 51, of Thomson, died Sept. 3, 2011. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011, at the Beggs Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Jim Martin and Tim Ferrell officiating. Interment followed in the May Family Cemetery. Pallbearers were David Welch, Donnie Hadden, George Norris, George Dill, Danny Dill and Eddie Jacobs. Mr. May was a lifelong resident of McDuffie County. He worked as a mechanic at Kingsley Mill in Thomson and had worked at Clark-Schwebel for 27 years in Washington. Mr. May also attended Bethel Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Angela May; children, Bryce May, Stephanie May, Kendyl May, all of Thomson, Britny May, Indiana; step-daughters, Amy Reeves, Bridget Brenneman; father, Leon May; mother, Shirley May; brothers, Jonathan May, Daryl May; sisters, Julianne Martin and husband, Jim, Susan May; grandchildren, Kelsey Reeves and Khloe Reeves, all of Thomson. Beggs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
