Fun for the family at the Jamboree

Festival-goers get ready. The Union Junction Jamboree is back for its sixth year in historic downtown Union Point.

A full slate of activities are on tap again this year as returning and new vendors make plans for a full day of family-friendly fun on Saturday1 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

The smell of pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread will fill the air as the newly added "Pumpkin Pie and Pumpkin Bread Bake-Off" is sure to become a festival favorite.

Participants are asked to prepare and bring their pies and breads the morning of the festival.

For registration information, please call event chair, Sherley Selman at (706) 486-4128. Geocaching with local cacher, Ruth Hendrix is back again this year. Interested in spending a night at the Ritz or playing a round of golf at The Landing? Opportunities to win this awesome package will be one of many prizes that the Union Junction Jamboree committee will be offering this year.

The fun zone for the kids, arts and crafts, model trains, classic tractors, great entertainment, and great food for all to enjoy when you visit with us at UJJ. The fun begins when you arrive. See you at the Jamboree.
