Mr. Milton Hobbs
WARRENTON, Ga. - Mr. Milton Hobbs, 68, beloved
husband of Mrs. Mary Frances Key, died Thursday, Sept.
29, 2011 in the Select Specialty Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct.
2, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.
Ralph Kitchens officiating. Burial was in the Westview
Cemetery.
Mr. Hobbs was a native of Glascock County, but has
lived in Warrenton for many years. He was a painting and
remodeling contractor. He attended Purvis School Light
House.
Mr. Hobbs was preceded
in death by his parents,
Ralph Hobbs and Rebecca
Estelle Denton, two sisters,
Geneva Key and Inez
Johnson, and brothers,
Lonnie Hobbs and Bobby
Hobbs.
Survivors include his
wife, Mary Frances Hobbs,
Warrenton; his daughter,
Tammy Hobbs, Gibson;
his son, Michael Shane (Wanda) Hobbs, Harlem; his
sisters, Cornelia Whitaker, Dearing; Joann Key,
Warrenton; his brother, James Hobbs, Phoenix City, Al.;
his three grandchildren,
Jeremy McKinnie, Joshua
McKinnie, Shana Hobbs,
three step-grandchildren,
and five step-greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were John
Bales, Joey Martin, Will
Bentley, Marty Blount,
Avery Poss Jr., and John
Poss.
Curtis Funeral Home was
in charge of arrangements.
