Mr. Robert Warren Wren

DEARING, Ga. - Mr. Robert Warren Wren, 74, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, at his residence in Dearing. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Renew officiating. Burial was in the Adams Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Wren was a native of Richmond County, but was a lifelong resident of Dearing. He was a retired carpenter and attended Dearing Full Gospel Church. Mr. Wren was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Gould. Survivors include his two daughters, Robin Lewis, Warrenton, and Tammy Marie Shepherd, Augusta; his son, Warren Wren Sr., Harlem; his lifelong companion, Myrtle E. Wilson, Abbeville; 13 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Michael Kennedy Jr. Warren Wren Jr., Jamie Lewis, Eddie Bud Jacobs, Bobby Jacobs, and Tracy Lewis. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Harlem A.A. Group. Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
