Mrs. Eunice King Prince
Nurse
THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Eunice King Prince,
79, wife of the late Elmer Eugene Prince Sr., died
Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, at her residence.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday,
Oct. 31, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel with
Dr. Leonard Dupree and the Rev. David Walker
officiating. Burial was in the Savannah Valley
Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Prince was a native of Wilkes County, but
had lived in Thomson for many years. She was the
daughter of the late Leonard S. King and Mamie
Callaway King. She was an OR Nurse at McDuffie
Regional Medical Center for over 30 years. She was a
member of the Thomson First Baptist Church, where
she was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School
Class, Women Missionary Union and the Young at
Heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son,
Leonard (Andy) Andrews Appling and a sister, Hilda
King Johnson.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth R. Appling,
Thomson; a brother, Gerald C. King, Martinez;
two grandsons, Jason Appling and Eric Appling;
two stepsons, George E. Prince and Elmer E.
Prince Jr.; and two
stepdaughters, Jerrie
Warren and Bobbie
Jean Kenison.

School Class.
