THOMSON — Mr. James Man Mooney, 73, died, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, in Doctors Hospital in Augusta. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, in the Curtis Funeral Home Chapel in Thomson with the Rev. Mike Sutphin officiating. Burial was in the Mesena Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Mooney was a native of Barnwell S.C., but had lived in Thomson for many years. He was a retired carpenter. Survivors include his daughter, Marsha Mooney, Lincolnton; his sister, Marie Evans, Camak; and several nieces and nephews. Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
