APPLING — Funeral service for Mrs. Bertha Appling Singleton, 87, of Harlem, was held on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at 3 p.m. at Second Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Harlem, with pastor the Rev. Henderson Roberson Jr. as eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery. Thomson Funeral System was in charge of arrangements.
