Mrs. Betty Ann New Norris
AUGUSTA — Mrs. Betty
Ann New Norris of South
Augusta now rests peacefully
with our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ. Her call to
our Lord came on Sunday
evening, Dec. 4, 2011, after
several years of enduring debilitating
illness.
Mrs. Norris worked for
many years as a substitute
teacher with Richmond
County Schools and also
worked in retail with J.
B. Whites for a number of
years.
Betty is survived by her
beloved husband, Jimmy
Norris; son, Terry Norris;
two grandchildren, Maggie
and Tyler Norris; one precious
great-grandson, Trysten
Norris; sister, Patricia
Helmly and her husband
Dana; two nephews, one
niece and their families.
Funeral services were held
Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, in
the chapel of Stanley Funeral
Home, Wrightsville, Ga.,
with the Rev. Robert Rogers
officiating. Interment
followed at Westview Cemetery
in Wrightsville.

of Baldwin County,
Sheriff Howard Sills of Putnam
County and Sheriff Logan

The Norris family wishes
to thank Miss Betty's
friends and acquaintances
for their love and support
shown to her and the family
over the years. She will
be dearly missed.
