Norris faculty, parents treated to holiday show

The Norris Elementary School Choir, under the direction of music teacher Tammy McClure and drama director Kelly Bingnear, presented its annual musical production Once Upon a Christmas at the Dec. 8 PTO-Title I meeting.

In the story, Santa's elves encounter fairy-tale characters such as The Three Little Pigs, Red Riding Hood and The Big Bad Wolf, who unlock a world of wonder as old tales are told with new, humorous twists.

The NES faculty thanked the many parents and friends in attendance to support the cast of more than 75 students during this night of entertainment.

Special appreciation was extended to Donna McNeely, Suzanne Chatham, Khrista Henry and Ashley Twiggs for their assistance in preparing the stage and supervising students for this performance.

Santa and Mrs. Claus made a guest appearance after the event.
