WARRENTON - Mrs. Fannie B. Johnson, age 95, of Mt. Beulah Church Road, died Friday Dec. 9, 2011, in the McDuffie Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday in the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Sutphin and the Rev. Roy Frierson officiating. Burial followed in the Zora United Methodist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kenneth Norris, Wayne Norris, Bobby Mauck, Bob Brooks, Bill Langham and Jimmy Richardson. A native of Gibson, Mrs. Johnson had retired from Thomson Company and was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Johnson, daughter Geraldine Thigpen, granddaughter, Bonnie Brooks, and is survived by grandson, Bobby Pilcher Thigpen, great-grandchildren; Lacey Brooks, Ryan Brooks, Nicki Thigpen, Ginny Tuberville, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Sheppard Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
