GREENWOOD, S.C. - Candice Delaine McDonald, 21, of 618 Sandshore Drive, Greenwood, S.C., went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 9, 2011. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of Charles Kennedy "Ken" McDonald Jr. and Renita Bullock Coleman. She was a graduate of Greenwood High School and attended Piedmont Technical College. She was formerly employed at Tropical Tan and attended North Side Baptist Church. Candice was preceded in death by a brother, Charles K. "Tripp" McDonald III; her maternal grandfather, Charles Kenneth Bullock, and her paternal grandmother, Maxine Balchin McDonald. Surviving are her mother and stepfather, Renita and Steve Coleman of Greenwood; her father and stepmother, Ken and Tami Mc- Donald of Greenwood; paternal grandparents, Charles K. McDonald Sr. and Harriet McDonald of Greenwood; maternal grandmother, Patricia King; paternal step-grandparents, Agnes and Ron Wray; brothers, Bryson Lee McDonald and Steven Coleman Jr.; sisters, Morgan McDonald, April (Scott) Coleman Skidmore and Kristen Coleman Jordan, all of Greenwood; and foster grandmother, Barbara Williams of Hickory Tavern, S.C. Services were held Monday at Harley Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with the Rev. Jeff Lethco officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
